Technical characteristics
An interior structure made of wood: wooden coffered floors formed by a 10cm CLT slab and glued laminated joists and a light screed to ensure acoustic insulation for the living area and mixed wood/steel beams in the shed to maximise transparency.
The building envelope is made of natural concrete using soil from the current site.
The ochre tone gives the building its unique character and expresses the sedimentation of the different layers that make up the Saclay plateau. It also protects the structure and gives it a solid, durable appearance.
Environmental characteristics
The project aims to achieve the following objectives:
- RE 2020 with Bbio -10%,
- Ic construction -15%.
